Troubleshooting Series with Swimming Science: Part I

We're excited to present the first installment of a "Troubleshooting Series" in partnership with Dr. John Mullen, a physical therapist and swim coach who runs the site Swimming Science.  In this post, we explore the physical limitations of the cervical spine that predispose swimmers to common stroke flaws and injuries, and provide a framework of assessment and correction.  In the near future we will move on to flaws and injuries related to other segments of the body.  Hopefully this series will provide a roadmap for coaches and swimmers to craft more preventive approaches to deal with stroke flaws and injuries.  Enjoy!
